Final Cut For El Capitan
- I gave Final Cut Pro 7 a try under El Capitan preview and it doesn't install/run, despite working in Yosemite. I think that whilst it takes on much of the design features of Yosemite they have streamlined the code base. At least that's why I think FCP7 is not installing. I know OP was about FCPX but just thought I'd add my tale of woe.
- I've installed El Capitan and Final Cut Pro X (10.1.3) doesn't work. It opens, loads and then suddenly closes, every time. I am downloading 10.2.1 now as I've seen people are having luck with this version.
- Final Cut Pro X Babbling. El Capitan, will be unleashed. Generally, I’m the moron who immediately updates anything the second it appears, and I happily tell everyone else to do the same. But this time, if you’re using Pro Apps, I’d recommend holding off for a bit. And by “a bit”, I mean until Pro App and 3’rd party plugin updates.
