• Nov 23, 2016 Which version of GIMP works well with MacOS 10.12 Sierra? Current version is 2.8.18 but, I read that the last stable version that works with Sierra is 2.8.14. Is GIMP blocked from installing due to being an unknown developer? That is what I get when try to open the dmg.
• I've managed to get DBP installed on my Mac (version 10.6.8). I've made the compiled plugin available on my blog, since compiling Gimp from MacPorts took an overnight compilation session, and is way too much hassle for folks who just want to plug-n-play.
• Gimp does not work on my mac or my macbook pro. I downloaded Gimp and installed it but when I try to launch it, nothing happens. A menu item comes up that says ‘Gimp’ but all I can do is ‘Quit’.
• Gimp downloads its dmg, then unloads its install dirve. Double click that and you get file with the GIMP icon inside. Dragged this to the Applications folder. I got the work around for opening even though it is an unrecognized developer. My issue is that there is no folder structure downloaded within my.

We have no macOS maintainer right now, so I can't tell if this code is supposed to be active in 2.10.14 or not. The best way to escalate this would be to build GIMP on macOS and check if.

The program, which I downloaded twice, to see if I somehow had a baddownload, is in black and white, not color. The imported images(photos, etc) are in color, but the program itself (toolbox, layers,etc.) are all in black & white or grayscale. Help!

This link is for 15 other themes. It says their for 2.8, but 2.10 will use 'em to. To learn where to park them in the app. Head down to the folders section of Preferences, open the themes option, there should be two directory paths there. Placing the unziped themes in either one of these directories will allow them to be shown as theme options. This vidio will walk you through the process, and when the description is expanded there is a link to a onedrive zip file. If unable to open zips, two FOSS apps to open this are 7Zip, or peazip Vid is here:

The four options you see here are from Gimp> Preference > Theme

While here, click on Icon theme, the menu just below theme and you will manageto change the display color of your icons. see screenshot
